Daggar, if you don't want this feel free to delete it, or I can. I just figured this would be useful and help keep the IC thread a bit cleaner.

I'll post once I know Greth's init as he is the only one that can currently beat Ilikan.
Can we get character icons instead of user icons for the map? I can crop my character pic down if you'd like, just let me know the size.
Here is a knowledge check to see if Ilikan knows who Sinruth is. Let me know what skill it would fall under and I'll list my modifier, though it won't be much. [dice=20]
Lastly, are any of the commoners that were just attacked dead? it sounded like the first was, the couple was not attacked yet, and the eld was just wounded. But they all have icons on the map so I thought it may be possible the first man is still alive. Also, is the elf being attacked by #1 or #2? I'm guessing #2 by the order of your posting but thought I would confirm.[rand=9718918395228684367571019334718670262341410852979073694969993085]

Yeah, I am a bit confused as to what is going on. As much as I like having a defender near by, I hope that Arden did not purposefully pull our defender away from three enemies.
As for my granted attacks, yes, feel free to roll them yourself. Since combat is being done in turn for each PC it will take a long time to get through combats. Anything that speeds things up is a great bonus.
Ilikan's melee basic attack is currently +8 vs AC, 1d12+4 damage.

I know SuperZero hasn't posted yet, but we still have a warden sitting back there. I figured it would be better to spread the defenders out?
At the very least we can NPC Sasha for this battle and then write her out if her player doesn't make an appearance.

Well S1norgy took care of spreading us out by teleporting me across the room.

To post an attachment, such as a map, click the "reply" button at the bottom right of the forum you are viewing. It is next to "share" and "print."
From there you open up a more advanced message box. There is a line for Attachments from there.

Madrius, I am a bit confused about a couple things. I don't want to hamper you. I just try to understand how characters work so that I can utilize similar tactics.
1) Your attack bonus: Dex (+4), Weapon proficiency - longbow (+2), Class bonus feat - Bow Expertise (+1). But your sheet has a +8 attack bonus.
2) Rapid shot attacks each creature in/adjacent to a square. What square did you select? You should either add Sasha or hobgoblin #1 to your attack.
3) I do not believe you can hide behind the bar as it does not provide superior cover or total concealment. And if it did, you would probably have trouble targeting the hobgoblins. Also, the camouflage feat only works when outdoors. Granted you can always try to hide, I just think that Greth doesn't actually have enough cover to result in being hidden no matter the roll.

whoops. you are right about the outdoors part. I overlooked that. As for the +8, I use the DDI character builder and just input what stats it gives me. Let me see if I can find that extra +1. I'm waiting on a part for my main computer to come in the mail (it's been almost 3 weeks...). Silverlight isn't supported on Linux so I can't open up the builder...
No worries, though. I'm getting used to the mechanics of a new character. I usually play healers, so stealth isn't normally my thing.

Stealth requires cover or concealment, not superior/total. You can't use cover from allies. Attacking or moving to a place without cover/concealment makes you noticeable again.

@spazz: Greth's Atk bonus = +4 DEX, +2 Prof, +1 Weapon Talent, +1 Bow expertise
@ Madrius: what is your target square? you need to make an attack vs hobgoblin1 or Sasha.

I vote for not attacking Sasha. . . then again maybe it'll jolt him out of his stupor

I designated one of the hobgoblins as the starting space. Now that I've re-read the power I realize I should have designated Sasha's space. Next time!

if you chose Sasha's square, you would have made an attack vs Sasha. You make an attack vs all creatures IN and ADJACENT to the target square

Stealth requires cover or concealment, not superior/total. You can't use cover from allies. Attacking or moving to a place without cover/concealment makes you noticeable again. Where does it state that you only need cover or concealment? Players Handbook 2, page 222 states: Becoming Hidden: You can make a Stealth check against an enemy only if you have superior cover or total concealment against the enemy or if you’re out- side the enemy’s line of sight. To stay hidden you only need some cover or concealment but you need the full deal when initially hiding. Since he is firing each round he becomes visible after the attack so he must hide anew. @spazz: Greth's Atk bonus = +4 DEX, +2 Prof, +1 Weapon Talent, +1 Bow expertise Ah, yes, looking back through I managed to miss Weapon Talent. My bad.

Lol thought I might as well throw my two cents in. The PHB numero uno actually says the following under Skills: Stealth:
Cover or Concealment: Unless a creature is distracted, you must have cover or concealment from the creature to make a stealth check. You have to maintain cover or concealment to remain unnoticed. If a creature has unblocked line of sight to you, the creature automatically sees you. However the PHB2 does say that it replaces the rules from the original PHB and that you need superior cover or total concealment OR that you must be outside an enemy's line of sight.

Daggar, another question for you. Did the goblin shift away from Ilikan the whole way over to near the wounded elf? Ilikan was in melee with him so typically he'd have to shift away and then use another move action to get that far without using special powers. Or did he somehow hide before moving? You mentioned he was nowhere to be seen though he was standing beside Ilikan, who previously could see him just fine. Ilikan is just trying to get a feel for the goblin's combat prowess.
