Trajia begins dancing slowly, twisting and turning her arms as she moves in closer to the three men
"Oh, I bring a strong sense of confidence.. and persuasion to those around me"
[I'm rolling against everyones Will score for what she is about to do, just in case anyone has a way of boosting their Will and wishes to do so.]
She works her way gracefully between Dent and Hargan, just gracing them with her touch. They feel an uncontrollable attraction to her
"I also know how to make a man's blood flow, if you know what I mean."
[No penalties or status changes occur. Simply RPing]
"Name's Trajia. Tell me if I'm wrong, but you two are Dent and Tabba?"

[So you know, Hargan was already interested. He likes... interesting women. Not Half-Giants, though. Not averse to a Thri-Kreen or a Mul, however] He raises an eyebrow, following the sinuous movements of her body with rapt attention, before responding "Aye, that's me. It'll certainly be my pleasure to become more... acquainted with you, Trajia."

"Ha, I might be. My name is tattooed on me and you're welcome to come find it."

Trajia chuckles at the two.
The man at the desk approaches the group and introduces himself formally
"Greetings brave adventurers! I am Delem Shom, your new employer. I will now brief you on the situation."
He waves to two guards who clear out the rest of the room and begin to stand guard just outside of the entrance
"Desert raiders harass and disrupt our caravans, yet the Revolutionary Council of Tyr will not lift a finger to help. Thus, honest merchants must find aid elsewhere. The raiders claim that our caravans know the site of a ruined temple called the Face in the Stone. They say if we give up the location, their attacks will cease. But we know nothing of the ruin. Moreover, a Shom caravan seeking to find the Face in the Stone never returned. Our request is this: Find the Face in the Stone, learn the fate of our lost caravan, and provide assistance to any survivors. All we have concerning the ruin's location is a line from an old song: "Where the devil's horn threads the tunnel in the sky, a stony visage rarely blinks its hollow eye." Return with your findings here, and you will be heralded as heroes of House Shom"
He pulls a pouch from his belt and begins counting out ceramic and handing out exactly 120 GP worth to all four recruits
"This is for provisions. Please set off as soon as possible. If you need anything in particular, such as beasts of burden or desert gear, we can provide it."

Dent counts the coins carefully as they drop into his pouch. "Hand over the gear Sir Shom, I'm sure none of this band wish to dally."
[So, 120gp. Dent buys:
Puchick - 3gp, 1lb Tortoise Blade - 10gp, 7lb Chatkcha x2 - 20gp, 1lb each Erdlu - 75gp Survival days x4 to put on Erdlu - 40gp
that leaves me with 1pp, and 93gp]

Rikus asks Delem to hold onto the money for his return, and purchases a good deal of survival equipment, while Trajia pockets the money and thanks Delem with a smile
[whoops, said Azmalak]

[Every time I try to search through the market silverlight crashes. I'm way too tired and angry to deal with it right now. For right now let's please assume I have those things.]

"Tabba" grins, and says "Have a quill and parchment? I have a list."

"Ah, yes! Follow me to the desk"
He pulls out a blank sheet of parchment and points to the quill. He also grabs a slip of paper and brings it over to Dent.
"I'm afraid we don't keep our Erdlu's here, but if you take this to the Elven Market just north of here you should find a stand with a ceramic plate that has our house symbol of two dragon-flies on it. Present the person at the stand with this slip and he will present you with your erdlu."

[Would you please Hiroma? I'll need to get this figured out when I can, as other things I use need silverlight! You should be able to Dent from your DDI account.]
[Is Shom providing our adventuring kits?]
Dent take the paper and rolls it, slipping it into a belt loop. Having everything seemingly sorted he waits for his comrades to finish their business

[no, if you want an adventure kit you have to buy it. they gave you 120 GP, and if you don't already have one, you may buy it. My belief is that the adventure kit is not appropriate for all characters, but it is for most. Some of the things in it don't fit certain characters - such as bed rolls or tents for characters who are accustomed to sleeping on the hard ground or in the open sky.]

[Will do, Jalent. PM me a comprehensive list of what you are buying, and I will put it all in.]
Hargan writes a the following in a scrawling, scribbling handwriting:
B. Tabba does hereby request the procurement of the following items: 2 normal mounts to be delivered to the estate of Trianna de Zaphrias, with the following message: "One Mr. B. Stabba has ordered these beasts of burden be delivered unto your estate, and asks that they be delivered to the 'Ass of the beastly T' with utmost haste."
Yours in all due honesty, Mr. B. Stabba

Delem reads the note with a slightly puzzled look on his face
"Well now, this is going to cost - with a delivery fee included - 460 GP in ceramic. Is a lad like you holding such coin?"

"Yes, indeed, I do." Hargan responds to the man, casually, flipping him 4PP in (Steel?) coins, and 60 ceramic coins.

[actually, they would still be made of ceramic, just bigger. If there were steel, it wouldn't be wasted on coinage. It would almost certainly be used for weapons or tools].
Delem says, "Fantastic! This will be delivered promptly. It seems you all are ready to head out, am I right?"
Trajia looks to Dent
"Shall we take a field trip to the market and fetch your Erdlu?"

Hargan smirks at Trajia, and says: "Like grabbing a man's Erdlu, do you?"
