The party ties themselves together and presses on through the storm with Krik'Kik at the lead and Rikus covering the end. The sand is brutal, and immediately begins filling every pore and crevice of the adventurers and their equipment. Thankfully the two stronger members can push and pull the party in the right direction. Krik, Hiroma, Tanara and Trajia are all pelted with larger chunks of rocks, seriously injuring them. They press on through the pain, though. Just before they reach the other side of the storm the sands begin to pile up, threatening to bury the party. Luckily Krik'Kik is ready and shouts for Rikus to give everything he has to help pull everyone through.
Calm.
Walls of roaring dust circumscribe a hollow area of still air bisecting a high cliff face. The cliff contains the relief carving of a massive humanoid face. The empty eyes are black shadows, but the gaping mouth is set with two granite obelisks that look like massive teeth. You see flashes of several humanoids darting about within the mouth cavity.
((The damage from the rocks is 10 HP, and you also lose a healing surge))

Rhogar thinks and then makes a connection
"Face...in the stone!! This is what we're looking for!!"

Hargan stares at Rhogar incredulously for a moment...
"Slow on the uptake, Rhogar?"

Hargan vanishes in a burst of shadow, appearing behind Rhogar
"What where you spit, Dray. Wouldn't want you to slip on it, and fall on my blade."

"Who has cha xhor this qhlace?"
(Cha means knowledge, Krik'kik is asking who knows of this place. Below are possible rolls to see if I recall/know who the people I saw darting about are.
History 1d20 (13) + 1 = 14 Perception 1d20 (19) + 1 = 20)

Trajia wipes his face clean."This is a place of power! Something is laid to rest here, and we get to find out!" Once Krik'Kik's vision subsides, he looks at the figures darting about. They are waving their arms and grunting. They have large claws that they click together.((It is a dungeoneering check to identify these guys)

(Krik'kik recoils from a trance, snapping back to the present.)
"I chat. G'tok has •een here. Koskcha. Crown. Sandstor'. Hoz."
(He remembers (chat) that his clutch (g'tok) has been here, either physically present or a collective memory. A flying serpent (koskcha, flying predator) with a crown and swirling sandstorm halo. A leader (hoz), diety, or respected being of some sort.)
"'ust go in."
(With heightened anticipating, Krik'kik readies himself to proceed into the mouth, but waits for his companions signs.
Dungeoneering 1d20 (13) + 1 = 14)

((With that roll you get this information))
At first glance the creatures seem like savage beasts, but they show signs of being civilized. They seem to be speaking to each other and comprehending what is going on.
((Does anyone speak Dwarven? and would anyone else like to try their luck at the Dungeoneering check?))

Hargan sighs, seeing the creatures.
"Hejkins... They have violent tendencies, and aren't very understood. They do strange rites, praying to unknown spirits. If we're going in there, watch for runes on the walls. They can be dangerous to go near, or look at. They've been known to harm people, or even drive them to insanity."
